The CHESHAM bag is designed deliberately simple.
It is sewn from very robust and heavy vintage Swiss Army tent fabric with partly strong and beautiful patina.It is said that these tents were taken over by the Swiss Army from the Americans after the Second World War and than, they were dyed black, and reused as sanitary and kitchen tents. Some tents are newer than others and therefor have lesser patina.
Of course, the sheets are cleaned before processing clean as the following video shows.
The inner pocket, in which valuables can be stowed (approx. 26 x 18 cm) is combined with a smartphone pocket.
As a shoulder straps, we use new vegetable tanned leather with a minimum thickness of 3.5 mm. All d-rings are made of stainless steel.
The carabiner with which the bag is closed can be used as key chain.
