DOMODOSSOLA backpack is designed deliberately simple. It is a rucksack for leisure and work.
It is sewn from very robust and heavy vintage Swiss Army fabric from the 60's. This fabric has been used for the famous Swiss Army duffle bags from the 1960's.
Of course, the sheets are cleaned before processing clean as the following video shows.
The inner pocket, in which valuables can be stowed (approx. 20 x 15 cm) is closable with a very robust RIRI metal zipper of Swiss Army stocks.
A practical key chain made of a black safety belt (approx. 50 cm) with a stainless steel carabiner, which was taken from the gas mask bag of the Swiss Army, completes the interior of the bag.
As leather straps, we use new vegetable tanned leather with a minimum thickness of 3.5 mm. The leather is made by one of the last Swiss Leather Tanneries in the valley of Emmental.
For the bordering we used old bicycle hoses which of course are washed beforehand.
